Apples and Libraries

Yesterday Payton's 2nd grade class went on a field trip. Before they went, Payton was telling me all about the "Apple" store they were going to. He said "there are all types of apples there." And he also said, "we are going to use a computer to see how the "apples" are made!" I tried to tell him that an "Apple" was actually a brand of computer. He did NOT believe me.He thought it was a store full of apples you eat! After he came home he was very excited about this "Apple" store. He got to play on an iPad, make his own website and see some cool gadgets. He then told me I was right about it being a computer store. Then he went on tell me about this "huge library". He thought it was the best library ever! You can even buy food there and he got to have a hot chocolate! He really wants to go there again. This library is also known as "Barnes and Noble." After the "Apple store and the Library" it was on to the movie theater to see Disney's "Ocean". He enjoyed that too, but was a little worn out since he fell asleep towards the end of the movie! All in all he had a great day!
